At Enterpex, we believe in opening doors for young professionals that are looking to enter our industry.
One of the ways we do this is through the Enterpex Young Professionals Grant. This private scheme grants one successful recipient £5,000 and 10 hours of mentorship, based on a submitted proposal. The grant is designed to help young professionals with the funds they may need to begin/further their early career.

Applicants must meet the following criteria in order to apply and qualify to receive the Enterpex Young Professionals Grant.
Applicants must:
- Be a UK citizen
- Currently reside in the United Kingdom
- Aged 18 - 30 years of age at the time of applications closing

Application Process
Applicants are invited to produce a written proposal of how they would use the grant to begin/further their career, film a video presentation to accompany their proposal, complete an itemised spending plan of how they would spend the grant, and complete an application form.
Applications will be reviewed by Enterpex. First with a shortlist being created, followed by one successful recipient being awarded the grant in early 2027.

No. You do not have to be enrolled in full-time education or have any particular qualifications to apply.
Kind of, yes. You have complete choice in how you would spend the grant, providing the spending will assist your entry into the themed entertainment and visitor attractions industry.
Applicants are required to present a spending plan that can be authorised and agreed via a contract prior to any funds being awarded. The successful grant recipient will then need to provide receipts and evidence to corroborate their spending.
Due to the number of applications we're processing, we are unable to provide individual advice.
However, we are looking for applications that are feasible, interesting, creative, will open doors for the applicant, and align with Enterpex's own knowledge of the industry.
We're only able to accept applicants who currently meet the age, residency, and citizenship criteria at the time of applications closing. However, we may choose to expand our criteria in the future.
We are unable to offer extensions to our application window at this time. Please kindly submit your application by the closing date to be considered, or look out for any future application dates.
No, not in the same year. However, you are welcome to apply again in the future if you are unsuccessful this year.
We will create a shortlist in November/December 2026. At that time, we will notify any applicants who are not on the shortlist that their application was unsuccessful.
Shortlisted applicants may then be requested to attend an interview. After which, a decision will be made and the chosen applicant will be notified and awarded the grant in or before January 2027 (subject to a signed Grant Agreement).
Applications will be considered against a range of factors including:
- applicant's passion for the industry;
- current barriers to entering or progressing within the industry;
- the quality and feasibility of the proposal;
- how Enterpex may best support the applicant;
- how Enterpex may best support the proposal;
- communication and presentation skills;
- responsible use of the proposed funding.
The final decision remains with Enterpex's leadership team. However, Enterpex may consult with trusted industry partners to help with the selection process.
